Start and end in the renowned UNESCO walled city of Dubrovnik known as the “Pearl of the Adriatic”. Next is Split which dates back to the Roman era, where you’ll visit the enormous Diocletian’s Palace, before setting off to Trogir, a picturesque medieval town. Set off to Zadar and discover the ancient Roman ruins and their lasting influence on the city. Explore Croatia’s capital Zagreb, the centre of culture and innovation before experiencing the country’s majestic Plitvice Lakes National Park, where you can walk on wooden bridges through lush greenery and cascading waterfalls!

Itinerary

Day 1: DUBROVNIK

Upon arrival at Dubrovnik Airport, transfer to hotel for dinner and overnight. Meals: D

Day 2: DUBROVNIK > SPLIT

Morning sightseeing tour of Dubrovnik, included in UNESCO’s List of World Cultural Heritage. You will visit the Franciscan Monastery with Europe’s third oldest pharmacy, the Rector’s Palace and the Cathedral. Afternoon departure for Split, driving along the Adriatic Coast and the Neretva River Delta. Dinner and overnight in Split. Meals: B, D

Day 3: SPLIT > TROGIR > ZADAR

Morning sightseeing tour of Split, covering the Diocletian’s Palace on the UNESCO’s List of World Cultural Heritage, with the Peristyle, Jupiter’s Temple and the Cathedral. Departure for Trogir, a picturesque medieval town where we visit the Cathedral of St. Lawrence. Continuation to Zadar, dinner and overnight. Meals: B, D

Day 4: ZADAR > ZAGREB

Morning sightseeing tour of Zadar, including the Roman Forum and St. Donatus Church, a magnificent monument of Romanesque architecture. Afternoon departure for Zagreb, the capital of Croatia. Dinner and overnight in Zagreb. Meals: B, D

Day 5: ZAGREB > PLITVICE

Morning city tour of Zagreb, including the fortified Upper Town, city’s historical center, St Mark’s Church with its multicoloured roof, the Cathedral, the Croatian National Theatre and the University. Afternoon departure for Plitvice, dinner and overnight. Meals: B, D

Day 6: PLITVICE

After breakfast, we tour the Plitvice Lakes National Park on the UNESCO’s List of World Natural Heritage. Sixteen lakes, each at a different level, are connected in a series of cascading waterfalls. Surrounded by dense wood, Plitvice Lakes are a natural phenomenon of rare and unique beauty. Dinner in a local restaurant and overnight in Plitvice. Meals: B, D

Day 7: PLITVICE > DUBROVNIK

Morning departure for Dubrovnik. Dinner and overnight in Dubrovnik. Meals: B, D

Day 8: DUBROVNIK

After breakfast, the tour ends with a transfer to Dubrovnik Airport. Meals: B
