Itinerary:
Day 1: LONDON, ENGLAND - Welcome to London! Transfer to hotel and remainder of day at leisure. (D)
Day 2: LONDON - Enjoy a panoramic full-day city tour of London’s landmarks. After dinner why not take a leisurely cruise on the River Thames. (B/L/D)
Day 3: LONDON / PARIS, FRANCE - Drive through the lush English countryside to the Channel port, where we board the ferry for Calais. Drive through the French countryside and arrive in magnificent Paris. (B/L/D
Day 4: PARIS - Spend a full day sightseeing and exploring the city famous for fashion, art and museums. You will see Notre Dame Cathedral, La Sorbonne, Arc de Triomphe, Opera Madeleine, the Eiffel Tower and Champs Elysees. (B/L/D)
Day 5: PARIS / DIJON / LYON - Leaving Paris, our first stop will be the town of Dijon, famous for its' mustard and its' International and Gastronomic Fair, one of the ten most important in Europe. We continue our journey southward and reach Beaujeu, centre of the famous Beaujolais wine. Visit to a winery with lunch. Continue to our final destination Lyon: Dinner and overnight. (B/L/D)
Day 6: LYON / AVIGNON / NICE - After a short drive through the city of Lyon, we continue our journey to Nice. We stop in Avignon for lunch and then a tour of the Pope's Palace. Evening arrival in Nice. (B/L/D)
Day 7: NICE - Today we visit Monte Carlo in the morning. Afternoon at leisure. (B/D)
Day 8: NICE − MONTECATINI
Today our journey takes us to Italy, along the "Costa Azzurra" and into the Tuscan hills to Montecatini Terme; beautiful town that was built around its mineral water springs.
Day 9: MONTECATINI - FLORENCE - MONTECATINI
"The Divine" tour of Florence includes Giotto's Bell Tower and Ponte Vecchio followed by free time to shop the artisinal boutiques. (B/D)
Day 10: MONTECATINI - ASSISI - ROME
After our visit of the famous Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi we continue toward the "eternal city" of Rome. (B/L/D)
Day 11: ROME
The Forum, Colosseum and St. Peter's Basilica are a few of the attractions included in our city tour today. Explore Rome in the afternoon at your leisure. (B/D)
Day 12: ROME
Transfer to airport for flight home. Those who remain in Italy, have a pleasant stay.
